M/V "IRA" and M/V "IVI"

Both ships "IRA" and "IVI" are sister ships, same capacity about 28000 tons dwt, same shape,

same building. On board of above vessels signed on as Master from 1990 up to 1995.

The ships are bulkcarriers loading grains, bulk cargoes, steel coils, steel, coal, iron etc. Our voyages were around the world and mostly in Great Lakes Canada-USA up to Duluth USA, because the ships are specially designed to pass Saint Lawrence river and the Locks for the Lakes. Many times we met ice on sea level, travelling for the G.Lakes in Canada and into the Lakes near Duluth Minesota. Also many times left Lakes accompanied by Icebreaker ship because were the last ship permitted to pass St.Lawrence river and G.Lakes. The Great Lakes are closed 15 Dec. to 15 March due to ice. My last ship was M/V "IVI" on Dec.1995.With both sister ships I crossed many times all 5 Oceans, I had been visited a lot of countries all over the World. I met, also, many many very dangerous situations, typhoons, harrycanes, with the result to reach very close to lost my life !!
